Okarex- AT Syrup is used for Respiratory diseases, Cough, Congestion, Common cold, Bronchitis, Breathing illnesses and other conditions.
Okarex- AT Syrup contains Ambroxol Hydrochloride, Guaiphenesin, Menthol, and Terbutaline Sulphate as active ingredients.
Okarex- AT Syrup works by thinning the chest mucus; thinning the mucus in the air passages; relaxing and opening the airways; temporarily relieving minor pain
Okarex- AT Syrup is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
- Respiratory diseases
- Cough
- Congestion
- Common cold
- Bronchitis
- Breathing illnesses
- Reversible airway obstructive diseases
- Uncomplicated premature labor
- Pain in arthritis
- Pain in shoulder joint
- Pain in tendons
- Pain in muscle strains or sprains
- Back pain
- Bruising
Okarex AT Syrup works by performing the following functions:
- Thinning the chest mucus.
- Thinning the mucus in the air passages.
- Relaxing and opening the airways.
- Temporarily relieving minor pain
The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Okarex AT Syrup. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.
- Gastric ulceration
- Stomach pain
- Loose motions
- Vomiting
- Itchy skin rash
- Hypersensitivity
Before using Okarex AT Syrup, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
- Alcohol consumption
- Asthma
- Avoid use of this drug during first trimester of pregnancy
- Breastfeeding or planning to get pregnant
- Do not drive or operate machinery
- Emphysema

- Alcohol
- Anisindione
- Bendrofluazide
- Dicumarol
- Furosemide
- Metipranolol
Hypersensitivity to Okarex AT Syrup is a contraindication. In addition, Okarex AT Syrup should not be used if you have the following conditions:
- Allergic reactions
- Breastfeeding
- Breathing difficulty
- Gastric ulceration
